Hi, I'm Jason Hill, the face behind Five Oak Films. The name was born while I was gazing out into my backyard, admiring our five old oak trees standing tall. Then it struck me: how impressive the longevity and strength these trees have shown over the years. I realized the oak tree is a beautiful metaphor for marriage and what it takes: strength, wisdom, endurance, and love.

I create wedding films that feel like coming home to a memory you didn’t know you missed. My approach is simple: be fully present, let your day unfold naturally, and preserve the authentic emotions: the glance during vows, your mom’s laugh during speeches, the energy of your people celebrating you.

When my wife and I married in 2022, we didn’t hire a videographer. That choice changed how I see this work. These films aren’t just videos, they’re emotional time capsules, heirlooms that grow more valuable with time.
